Offline.
I’m going to be offline for a couple of days during the move. I planned ahead unlike last time and should be all hooked up again sometime Friday at the new place.

Ugh. Just got done watching the Husker game and we ended up losing at the end 28-25 to Texas. I think for the first time all season the players played like they gave a shit, and for the first time since the USC game I gave a shit. I was really into it yelling and throwing stuff like I normally do. I loved all the pressure we put on them instead of Cosgrove’s read and react bullshit that never never NEVER works. That cocksucker Colt McCoy was put into the ground more times than I can count. His jersey was ripped and he was all covered in grass stains and he got hurt a few times but not enough to knock him out of the game. I HATE THAT GUY. These are the types of losses I can tolerate. When we play a team that is better in almost every way as hard as we can and put a hurtin’ on em and lose close in their house. Getting half a hundred put on us I can’t tolerate. Callahan still must go though. He has to win the rest of his games to go to a bowl and that isn’t going to happen.
On a side note I cut off the beard. I know I said I was going to grow it until April 1st but I couldn’t stand it anymore. Left the goatee though. Got a haircut too for the first time since the beginning of summer and man does that feel better. Now my hat fits again.
Oh man this is AWESOME! Remember that team triathlon I was in a few weeks back? I opened the mail this morning and I had a medal from it! This is so great it has to be fattening! Now I know what you’re thinking. How the fuck could you get a damn medal Steve? Didn’t your team finish 77th out of 84? Didn’t you average eleven and a half minute miles on your run? I’ll tell you how… I have no idea. Technically Jordan and myself got it for placing third in our division but as I look back to the results they posted that day we came in fourth out of four teams with the next closest team finishing almost forty minutes faster. But as I look at the sheet that came with the medal it has us third. William Preister and Jeremy Thorson from Omaha are missing. They must have failed the test for steroids or human growth hormone or whatever the Tour de France guys are using now. It matters not! A third place medal out of three based on a technicality is still a bronze. I’ll hang it with pride. HELL YEA!
