It’s Monday.

It’s Monday again. I just got home from work. I don’t have much new news. I went out after work on friday over to another work poker party. Again I didn’t play since I don’t gamble but I got liquered up pretty quick and it was an ok time. Saturday I stayed home feeling like crap and Sunday afternoon I went to the Zoo Bar to see my boss David play for some fundraiser for some festival. He plays for a group called Kusi Taki. They play music from Central and South America. I have never seen anything like that before but it was pretty good. I don’t think I would sit around the house listening to their cd or anything, it’s not really my style but it was still cool to watch. David is the one on the top far right of the picture on their main webpage. After that I went and played some pool with Jordan at Old Chicago. Other than that I don’t have anything new to say. Work is work, the weather is nice. I better get to bed now though so I can get up in the morning at a diecent time. I really need to get a new sleep schedule going. My body says “What you dont have to get up at the butt crack of dawn anymore? Well let’s stay up half the night and sleep till noon then!” I can tell that that philosophy isn’t going to work. Nothing is getting done.

Craptastic!

Well I’m all signed up for next quarter’s classes. I got a totally craptastic schedule. 6 days a week I have to go to class and I only have 2 classes! How the hell does that happen? Well they are classes with labs which sucks. I am taking Biology of Microorganisms and Astronomy. What the hell good does either of those classes do you in the real world? Do you say in an interview “I am fluent in astronomy and looking at stuff through a microscope.” Well then you’ve got the job! Monday through Saturday totally sucks especially since the college is on the opposite side of town. Oh well. I would write more but I have to go to work.

New shift, No jackpot.

Well I start my new shift tomorrow afternoon. Yay. No more doubleshifts unless I pick up overtime. Once and a while is ok but all the time starts to suck. I have to go in tomorrow morning and sign up for classes next quarter. What am I going to take? Who knows. I can’t sign up for them on the computer like normal because I am in a new program and have to talk to an advisor. I’ll just go in tomorrow morning and say I need at least 12 credit hours all in the same building that ends by 1pm from this list of classes. Who knows what I’ll end up with. I will have a lot more choice next quarter when I can sign up over the internet and can see what is available. I think I will enjoy these classes a lot more than the business ones because it is stuff like biology, anatomy etc. More general type classes in subjects that I can get interested in. Management classes are quite boring.

I didn’t win the lottery today. I had high hopes when I got on the powerball website and across the top it was scrolling “There was 1 jackpot winner in the state of Nebraska” I know theres like 1.6 million people in Nebraska but its better than seeing that it was someone in Arkansas or something. I got one number right. Know what one of the first things I would have done after winning the money? I would have gotten a mason jar full of toenails. WHAT THE HELL FOR?, you ask? Just to see it I suppose. With that kind of cash you can ask for something absurd like that and your people smile and say YES SIR! and dont miss a beat. I wonder where you would even get enough toenails for that anyway? Oh well that’s not for me to figure out, that’s a job for my “people”.
